Skill
Energy (Duck Life 1)
Energy lets the duck keep going during races. Feed it between races so it can reach the finish.
Feeding and racing
Energy is separate from
Running,
Flying and
Swimming. A duck can be fast enough to win but still lose when it runs out of energy. Feed
Seed or
Skill Seed before trying longer races.
Later-edition seed effects
In the Unity editions, a normal seed gives 0.6 energy levels and a Skill Seed gives 3 energy levels. The display rounds down, so a normal seed does not always immediately change the visible whole-number level.
Original Flash note
Skill Seeds also raise the three racing skills in original Flash. In original Flash, a normal seed gives 1 energy XP per bite, while a Skill Seed gives 1 level per bite to energy and each of running, flying and swimming. The later-edition numeric amounts should not be substituted for those Flash rules.
