Beagle

Personality

Beagle admires Edgar’s hats and tries to imitate the eagle’s elaborate speech. The imitation is awkward, and Beagle admits to barely understanding Edgar at all. Admiration for the craftsmanship remains much more convincing than the attempt at fancy language.

Character	Dialogue
Tip of the morning to you, good duck
How is it that the day finds you today?
	...yeah, I know
	...that does sound right, yeah
I'm trying to be all wordy-durdy like Edgar the Eagle over there
Between you and me, I can't understand a word he says
It's like he's in a Drakespeare play or something
He does know how to make great hats, though - like this top hat!
I'm sure Edgar would be happy to sell you a hat
	He's very easy to recognise
Yep - and a bald eagle at that!
