Lysander

Personality

Lysander is blunt about the river’s danger and refuses to indulge claims that a higher swimming level will solve it. The warning comes with practical advice about crossing on stepping stones instead. Lysander suggests finding a hopping animal to teach jumping.

Character	Dialogue
You'll never swim across this river, kid
The current is way too strong for ducks like us
Won't make a spot of difference, kid
No matter your swimming level, you're not making it across this river
	Lucky for you...
There are some stones in the river downstream that you might be able to hop across
You'd have to find someone to teach you about jumping, though
Ducks aren't natural jumpers, so it would need to be a different animal...
An animal known for hopping around
	Like a kangaroo, maybe?
A frog would also work, yeah
