Matthew
Matthew is a racer in
Sunflower Ravine in
Duck Life 9: The Flock.
Personality
Matthew presents the maze’s racing rules matter-of-factly and recognises a good performance. The offer of private coaching is less convincing: an enormous fee seems intended to discourage takers. Faced with someone who can actually pay, Matthew becomes flustered and refuses the money.

Hello there
I know you've just walked in, but...
I can't let you pass unless you beat me in a race
I'm down
It's just how things work in here, really
All the other ducks in the maze will be the same
There are some... colourful characters... in here
Anyway - want to race?
Can't let you pass then

No way are you beating this maze if you can't get past me
I'm down for a rematch if you are?

You put up a good fight in our race, mate
The rest of this maze should be no trouble if you keep that up
But, if you're interested...
I do offer a race coaching service if you want some one-to-one training?
Oh - never mind then
Good luck with the maze, I guess
Ideal!
I can start at 10,000 coins per session if that works with you?
That's... nowhere near 10,000 coins
Come back when you're a bit richer, mate
Wait... really?
No one's actually had that much money before
What do I do...?
I- I can't accept all those coins
You'll have to find another trainer elsewhere, I'm afraid
Woah... okay then
Have a good day, I suppose
