Look around Race Town or Battle Town, according to the bridge chosen on Egg Island.

Find the town
Enter 
Race Town if you chose the race bridge, or 
Battle Town if you chose the battle bridge.
Explore
Talk to local ducks, try the available shops and visit the beginner training rooms. Race Town begins with racing and endurance; Battle Town begins with battles and strength. Continue to the town exit when you are ready.
