Cloud Gems

Red Gems power the Cloud Kingdom’s ordinary lifts; the Golden Gem powers the tournament lift.

Ordinary lifts

Use Red Gems to activate the lifts between clouds. Once activated, a lift stays available. Explore the islands and complete their challenges to obtain more gems.

The tournament lift

The later gem reward is a Golden Gem for the tournament lift. Opening that lift and recovering the ticket in Cloud Pipes are separate parts of reaching the tournament.
