Grow a Duckroot

Grow and harvest a Duckroot to complete Headmaster Hoot’s first farming task.

How to complete

The task completes when a grown Duckroot is harvested; buying one does not count.

  1. Build a Farming Patch, Seed Box and Gardener’s Shed through the Upgrade Well.
  2. Put Duckroot crop seeds in the Seed Box. These are planting seeds, not Basic Seed.
  3. Let a duck prepare the patch with a Rake, plant a seed and water the crop.
  4. Wait for it to ripen, then let a duck harvest the Duckroot with Gloves.
  5. When the task is available and marked complete, return to Headmaster Hoot in The Flock Village and claim 20.
