Catch a Blighter

Catch a Blighter with a Fishing Rod at Fishing Beach.

How to complete

You must catch the fish yourself. Buying a Blighter from Platy does not complete this task.

  1. Visit Fishing Beach after Igor clears the cave route. Meet Benson the Bear, catch a Runt with his net and trade it for a Fishing Rod.
  2. Cast toward the fishing spots farther out from the shore.
  3. Wait for the bite and exclamation mark, press the action control, then keep tapping to reel in the fish.
  4. Land a Blighter. If you catch another species, try a different spot.
  5. When the task is available and marked complete, return to Platy in The Flock Village and claim 50.
