Catch a Whopper

Catch a Whopper with a Fishing Rod at Fishing Beach.

How to complete

You must catch the fish yourself. Buying a Whopper from Platy does not complete this task.

  1. Visit Fishing Beach after Igor clears the cave route. Meet Benson the Bear, catch a Runt with his net and trade it for a Fishing Rod.
  2. Win the Crystal Desert Tournament so Splinter builds the fishing pier. Walk out onto the pier to reach the deep-water spots.
  3. Wait for the bite and exclamation mark, press the action control, then keep tapping to reel in the fish.
  4. Land a Whopper. If you catch another species, try a different spot.
  5. When the task is available and marked complete, return to Platy in The Flock Village and claim 60.
