Follow Treasure Hunt Clue, dig at its site with the Shovel and open the first chest in the Cove Treasure Hunt.

Where to dig

Climb the vines, cross the brook and look beneath the palm tree beside the building. The screenshot shows the chest after digging to mark the exact position; it is buried when you first arrive.
